Changing and Removing Programs

From time to time, you will want to get rid of existing programs that you’ve installed or change them. If you’ve been a long-time user of Windows, you may remember the day when you could simply locate the executable file for a program and delete it. The only safe way to remove a program in Windows XP Professional is to click the Change Or Remove Programs button in the Add Or Remove Programs dialog box, select the program you want to remove, and then click the Change/Remove button.

Adding and Removing Windows Components
