how to create new contact from an email message on your smartphone
Creating a contact from an email message :
You can use email messages to help build your phone’s contacts list address book. That’s because the email message supplies both the contact name and their email address. Follow these steps:
1)View the email message.
can’t add a contact from the inbox; tap the message to view its contents
2)Tap the icon by the sender’s name or tap the name itself.
The Gmail app uses a letter icon for unknown contacts, such as the H shown in the margin. The Email app may show a generic human icon, in which case you should tap that icon. Otherwise, tap the name itself.
3)Tap the Add User icon to create the new contact. Or, if prompted, choose the option to create a new contact.
The Add user icon is shown in the margin.
You might also see an option to update an existing contact. If so, choose that contact from the list to add the email address to their entry.
4)Add information about the new contact.
Refer to specific directions earlier in this chapter. The contact’s email address is provided automatically.
5)Save or update the contact.
Tap the Done icon or SAVE button.
If you create a new contact, double-check the name. it might be added improperly, using the contact’s email address or a name you don’t normally associate with that contact.
